Couple of weeks ago the bathroom manufacturer Kohler welcomed people who are interested in movie set design to follow a panel discussion and to attend a cocktail event in New York’s Setai Fifth Avenue residences.

The panel discussion was moderated by Simona Migliotti who is an award-winning and internationally recognized production designer, whose work includes the movie Morning Glory starring Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton.

The panel included:

Steven Gambrel: Designer for the Town & Country apartment inspired by the movie Six Degrees of Separation starring Will Smith.

Richard Hallberg: Designer for the Veranda apartment inspired by the movie Wall Street starring Michael Douglas. His work has been published in House & Garden, Architectural Digest and Elle Decor etc.

Stephen Hendrickson: Production designer for Wall Street. He has been nominated for two Primetime Emmys and is currently production designer for the TV series Good Wife starring Julianna Margulies.

Phoebe and Jim Howard: Designers for the House Beautiful apartment inspired by the movie Something’s Gotta Give starring Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. Their work has been published in Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, The New York Times etc.

Francisco Jove: Francisco is a principal of DAS Concepts, Inc. and designed the interiors of The Setai Fifth Avenue Hotel & Residences.

Beth Rubino: Set Decorator for Something’s Gotta Give starring Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. Beth has designed many movies such as American Gangster starring Russell Crowe and has got two Oscar nominations.

Kristi Zea: Production designer for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps starring Michael Douglas. You can see Kristi’s work in movies such as Philadelphia starring Tom Hanks , Revolutionary Road starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Goodfellas starring Robert De Niro and The Silence of the Lambs with Anthony Hopkins etc.
